William Eaton - Wisdom Tree Wisdom Tree album by William Eaton was released Jan 29, 1998 on the Canyon label. Having previously worked with R. Carlos Nakai, luthier William Eaton steps out on his own again on Wisdom Tree. His hand-made wooden string instruments combine melodic structures with improvised musical dialogues to offer a haunting, spontaneous collection Wisdom Tree music CDs. Eaton plays harp guitar, Lyre, Koto harp guitar and his own creation, the O'ele'n Strings (31 strings, 22 pitches) Wisdom Tree songs. Joining him are the accomplished double bassist Edgar Meyer, violinist Arvel Bird, flutist Ia Tulip and Native American flutist Robert Tree Cody, and Udi Arouh on guitar Wisdom Tree album. Occasional rhythms are played on balafon, shaker, berimbau and water drums.
